The beauty and environmental responsibility of reclaimed wood is clearly visible in the many uses skilled architects and interior designers have put it to. In addition, the wood from over 50 years ago is in most cases old growth. This means it has a tighter wood grain, is of higher density, less prone to rot and insect infestation and cannot be replaced with new wood.
